By creating an account or using Billby you agree to these terms. They're deliberately short — we're a small team and we'd rather you actually read them.

The service

Billby is a time-tracking and invoicing tool for freelancers and small teams. We provide the service; you do the work.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens on your account. Use accurate information — especially the business details that print on every invoice you send.

Acceptable use

Don't use Billby to:

• Send spam, phishing, or fraudulent invoices
• Impersonate another business or person
• Probe, scrape, or attempt to attack the service
• Violate the law in your or your client's jurisdiction

We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

Beta status

Billby is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or move. We try not to lose your data, but we don't offer a formal uptime or backup guarantee while in beta.

Service "as is"

We provide Billby on an as-is, as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.

Termination

You can stop using Billby at any time and contact us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email.
